Stalker decided to make a new clan named MWP which meant Mc'redie will pay after which vortex join as there ambassador and trainer one of the members wasn't happy about this you may know him as nuke, Vortex spanked his ass in a game and he quit the clan due to this but decided to try and cause havoc amongst the clan members after a period of time Stalker and vortex decided to leave MWP as it was a futile clan with no prospects.

After a 1 year break and a family tragedy, Vortex decided to start playing Star Trek Armada 1 again and found that most of the clans were arrogant and stuck up and therefore decided to opt out of the whole clan system.
Shortly after stalker began to play Star Trek Armada 1 again also and decided he wanted to build a new clan, but knew that he didn't have the experience to manage and maintain a clan that could stand the test of time. He asked his brother Vortex to see if he could help . . . luckily vortex was able to help, he remembered when he first started playing Armada all those years ago and remembered a clan he was in named Ds, Dark Shadows which sadly died out in the early years of armada that clan wasn't about being the best, wasn't about showing off it was about having a laugh with a good group of people . . . thus, Vortex decided to remake Ds.

After much discussion between Stalker and vortex we decided to settle on the clan name Ds and the motto 'Forgiveness is for losers, Revenge is for Ds' vortex then set out to make a website the first site was very basic it was a standard html page a bit like what most other clans have their sites on the likes of freewebs and such.
Once the site was up and running we started recruiting members, Ds became big very quickly it seemed like it was extremely popular but things started to go wrong. We had Name changers, cheats, spies, all sorts and it was giving Ds have a bad name we had about 50 members and Ds started to wobble in its stability. . . Vortex took immediate action and disbanding all members we started from scratch we had 5 members Vortex, Stalker, Goddess, Demon and Warf all trusted, loyal members.

From the last attempt to make Ds 'great' which failed, we learnt from our mistakes and also created a new website. We weren't going to let the same thing happen again, the site was built using flash and it was an awesome site but a little cramped and we couldn't manage the members like The Hc wanted.28/01/2005
The re-birth of Ds
We launched our new site which used Nuke Evolution CMS, we launched our selves into new games to make Ds grow beyond the realm of Armada 1 we dabbed our hands into games like Elite force, Bridge Commander, we had a good 40 members and I'm glad to say as it seemed everything was going well Ds was strong and seemed impenetrable by any force.

A year passes with many good games and experiences for all out members and Ds was stronger than ever . . . however it started to appear in the ranks there was some sort covert operation to destroy Ds, obviously people were jealous of Ds power and stability, Marcus a long member of Ds was secretly making his own clan under a new name while still being part of Ds and recruiting members from Ds he tempted a few members QT and JATAL with prospects of them being high leaders in his new clan, POWER HUNGRY FOOLS...
After reviewing several intelligence logs it turned out that QT posing as a women was actually a man . . . now you may say what does that have to do with anything . . . well I will try to explain it to you.
QT was recruited by Marcus to recruit Ds members into his clan QT's tactic on this was to flirt and even cyber with most of the Ds members in order to bring them round to persuasion, 'she' had everyone fooled apart from a select few Goose, Vortex, Stalker and Princess. Even one of the High council resigned and said that QT could take his place. We decided to see what happened and let it play out for a while to get to the root of things. It started to prove that letting it pan out would cause a lot of damage to Ds thus vortex decided to broadcast his findings to the whole clan.
In the end they managed to steal 4 members of Ds which to be honest I was glad of, they were trouble makers and were not loyal so I wasn't to fussed about it but i was annoyed to the way they went about it so sneakily.
Marcus then started to try out how bonded the Ds Hc were, trying to cause disputes within the Hc by blaming an innocent party 'Goose'. He began to spin a web of lies trying to accuse Goose of all the bad happenings in the last 3 months he span such a lie he started to fool a couple of Hc members which turned on Goose.
Vortex and the remaining High council saw through the lies and the fakes, Marcus was saying one thing to one person and another to the other I ask all members to record any conversation they had with him and slowly but surely the reports piled in. Vortex then published his findings on the forums for all to see. The Hc returned to order and Goose was apologised to by the accusing parties, one Hc member quit Ds . . . . Not due to believing the lies but because of the embarrassment of being fooled and blaming a fellow loyal member of Ds.
The rebel members of Ds formed a new clan on Armada know as A][A. I can't remember what it stood for as I wasn't particularly interested, they decided to make it their personal quest to try and destroy Ds, a conquest that would fail miserably, QT still had a few players in the Armada1 world fooled but most had already wised up to 'its' game.
One particular member was JATAL, he was in a relationship with 'her' for a good year even though they were in different countries and never met each other lol and he was still being fooled even though he had never heard 'her' voice or seen 'her' on camera.
After being caned by Ds in games they decided to back down, but like Vortex and the High council constantly said their clan wouldn't last and within about 4 months their clan collapsed.
The dispute started because Marcus was over looked for being a new Hc member and QT trying to force her way into the Higher ranks of Ds which was shunted by many of the Ds Hc

After a year later Ds has rebuilt it's ranks and now moved to several more games including WarCraft 3 Frozen Throne, Galaxain Beta Quadrant and Freelancer.
We decided to leave Bridge commander and elite force as the players were few and far between.
- We have a dedicated server for several games which you can find more information either on our forums or the various tabs on the Ds site.
- We have a few rules but they are not hard to abide by.
- We are always looking for new members.
- We are always looking to expand.
- We look to be the best clan out there.

We moved to two new games, Sins Of A Solar Empire and Crysis, however we decided to pull out of both games. We pulled out of Sins Of A Solar Empire as there was a small fan base within the game and there was a lack of interest within Ds and we had no option but to pull out of Crysis as the server which was provided by a specialist business would not operate properly - not allowing anyone to join the server. Obviously we could not play in a game where we could not have our own server as the game was full of hackers.

Ds shut down the clan activity's due to lack of interest in the clan and the fact that the summer had closed in and members were out and about enjoying the sun. We shut down for several months.

The time had come to reopen Ds as per the request of several High council members. However after opening the doors of Ds once more the interest was still lacking in games. Vortex decided to start work on a new website for Ds which would be nearly completely self automated. Blood was also promoted to Vice President.

Ds reopened its doors to the public and launched the new site. We also joined a new game - Star Trek Online, and are currently enjoying steady member growth and enjoying a hopefully prosperous new year!
